Celebrating our recent successful adoptions and the joy they've brought to their new families
Domestic Short-Haired
Cassiopeia was rescued from an old barn where she was raising three kittens. Sleek and elegant, this solid black beauty is calm, confident, and full of grace. It seems obvious that she is not a stranger to indoor living, as she immediately settled into the sights and sounds of her foster family, even making herself comfortable on the couch the very first time she was introduced to the living room. A curious girl, keen to investigate new places and things, with a sweet nature that enjoys attention, this lovely girl is looking forward to a house that she can call home!

So beautiful & unique, with a tri-color calico coat in all muted colors of grey, buff, & pure white. Song first came to Forgotten Ferals with her litter of three kittens in Spring 2025. She was adopted along with two of her little ones, but in time it became clear that she was not adjusting well to her canine housemates. In order to give her the opportunity to truly have her best life, she has come back to us. In her new foster home she will be able to feel safe and comfortable and her sweet nature will have a chance to shine. The ideal home for Song is one that is a slower, quieter pace and does not have dogs. She would do well in a small space, bungalow or apartment.

Frankie is the sweetest boy who loves attention and will need someone who has the time to give him plenty of love. With his perfect imperfections, Frankie will melt your heart. He does have a slightly tilted neck and is waiting for surgery to correct his right eye issue, whereby his eyelashes are turning inward and causing irriation. We are preparing for this entropion surgery, which will be all covered by TFF. UPDATE: Surgery went very well and Frankie is recovering. He loves snuggling but is not a fan of being picked up for long periods - he just wants to be by your side. Has been exposed to quiet dogs and doesn't mind a feline friend who would accept him as family. We do have other cats his age that would be great to adopt out as a pair if that is what you are looking for.

Nova is Kind, Confident, and Graceful, with a silly side that makes life a lot of fun! Nova gets along with everyone. She enjoys the company of other kitties and people. She loves a comfy lap to curl up on. Check out her fashion sense! A little black beret, one white-topped ear, and a black cape... she's sure got style! Her dainty build and tiny feet makes it seem like she is dancing everywhere she goes. Nova sometimes has tears leak from her eyes, so her face often needs a gentle wipe to clean away those tears.

This fellow is best friends with Luna and Nova! Note: Eclipse has special needs. Please see the his medical notes for more information.

Jamie is a little more on the shy side. She is very playful and loving once she gets comfortable in her space with new people. Jamie was one of 3 kittens born to a feral mom so we are looking for a quiet home and a family that has some experience with shy cats and kittens. Jamie has been around dogs that do not give chase and our preference is to have Jamie adopted with either Desoto or Firefly.
Domestic Short-Haired
Meet Firefly, once a very timid kitten coming in from a colony of 21 rescued ferals. She has a reserved personality although extremely playful and gets along with all other foster kittens. Firefly doesn't seem to mind the foster dogs, although they ignore all the kittens and never give chase. She will need time to warm up to new people and adopting her with another one of our more confident kittens, such as her sister Desoto, will help her learn to trust.
Domestic Medium-Haired
Looking for long term foster-to-adopt family for siblings Maverick & Olivia Ideal home will have experience with feral shy cats. Both cats are a medium haired with huge fluffy tails. Very playful but very shy. Plenty of time available to spend socializing is a must. No dogs or young children. In July of 2025 we took in 5 of the feistiest 4 month old kittens that many rescues would have given up on. Well, we are the Forgotten Ferals and we were not about to give up on them. Barn placements are for those true ferals who would rather hunt and stay clear of close human contact. Socializing for months though is a part of our rescue mission to give those ferals that show some openness to adjusting to indoor life a true chance to be adopted to a family if possible. Maverick and Olivia are prime examples of this long but positive process.

Buzz came to Forgotten Ferals in early October 2021 from a cottage area where a kind person had been feeding her and her siblings over the summer. She has a naturally skittish nature and would require a quiet home with a family who understands she will need to time to continue to build trust with humans. No young children under the age of 10. She has been around a dog in her foster home but would need to ensure the dog does not chase her.

Searching for a main coon look-a-like? Fig might be your guy. Fig was returned into our care at no fault of his own. Due to busy lifestyles, the family thought it was best to rehome Fig as they no longer have the time to care for him. Fig is a friendly 7 yr old cat that loves attention and would do best in a home with a family that has plenty of time to give to this amazing boy. He has an amazing long haired coat with eyes that stare into your soul. Not into a home with young children but he does enjoy the company of a quiet dog that does not give chase.

Desoto is the class clown, chasing the other kittens in a very playful mode! She would do best with another kitten or playful cat in a new family home, perhaps with her sister Firefly! She gets along well with the foster dogs, who do not give chase. Loads of energy but will purr up a storm once that energy is depleted.

Your very own house panther! Got the zooming. I'm your gal. Endless entertainment guaranteed. Jetta is a super sweet kitten who will no doubt brighten your day! She gets along with all her foster friends including the dogs. She can take a frown and turn it into a smile with her silly movements and playful antics!

Blaze has a shy disposition. Hobbies include high jumps, parkour practice @3 am & judging your lifestyle. Blaze has come so far with socialization however may never be one that like to be picked up. He will flop right at your feet for attention, and allow pets loving every minute, however quick to let you know - not a fan of being in anyones arms. Super playful dude, going 90 in a 60 when a toy catches his keen eyes. He would do very well with his brother Clyde, or Jetta adopted as a pair.

I'm a goofy young cat who showed up at my foster home last summer and quickly enchanted my foster parents and their neighbors with my charm and good looks. I do have a tendency to yowl when my meals are being served, just to let them know that I am really hungry. I love playing with my toys and entertain everyone around while they watch me chase my tail round and round. I do love sleeping with my foster parents burrowing under the covers. I love my friends but sometimes due to my youthful exuberance, I forget that they might not like me playing too forcefully with them. I am not a fan of dogs but a cat friendly child that is supervised closely to ensure a smooth transition might be a good match.

A beautiful calico with tabby stripes, Ophelia had been living outdoors, in the city, where several families had been feeding her... but no one "owned" her. She relied on these families for food and shelter, so when one of them moved away, she was left with less options. And winter had arrived. Being quite a big girl, we weren't sure whether she might be pregnant, so when she was convinced to come indoors by a conceed resident in the area, we took her in to make sure she wouldn't be left out in the cold. We are sure now that she is not eating for more-than-one (she just really likes food!) She has her spay surgery scheduled and we are hoping that once she's recovered, we will have found her a family that she can truly call her own! She is obviously a clever girl, having lived outdoors in a busy downtown area for quite some time. She's now adjusted wonderfully to indoor life, taking full advantage of lying on warm rugs, enjoying the delights of catnip toys, and loving the attention she gets from people! Ophelia would be wonderful companion, being one that wants to be around you and actively seeks out conversation and petting. We estimate she is about 2-3 years old; old enough to know a good thing when she's got it... and she isn't one to want to share, so would prefer to be the only cat in a home. The true queen of her castle!

Clyde is a cuddler! I'm not lazy, I'm just a very relaxed professional rapper....Who occasionally bounces off walls This sweet little man, as he is called in his foster home is more dog like than you would think possible. He follows you around like a puppy, wondering if your next move will include a few pets sent his way, a few words letting him know you know just how beautiful he is. He will take some time to adjust, but that time is so worth it once you belong to him!!
